Cati Olivion Biography:
Cati Olivion was born in Egypt in the same year that archeologists dug up the "Tablets of the Sphinx" one of the most sensational discoveries of the decade. Unfortunately it was later discovered to be an elaborate hoax devised by Amul Habib the head of research at the Al Simhara Museum, who was madly in love with his cat Sammy. Amul had carved Sammy's likeness on the tablets before planting them at the dig site. In any case the year Cati was born the Tablets of the Sphinx was all anyone could talk about and so her parents named her Cati. Her parents had met a few years earlier when Lahrissa, Cati's mother who is Egyptian, went to boarding school in France and met Cati's father Charles, then the son of a well respected olive farmer. A few years passed and they fell in love, married and had Cati. They left Egypt and moved to Bridgeport when Cati was a toddler. Growing up Cati would listen to the stories her parents told of far off lands and grand sites to see abroad. It filled Cati with an adventurous spirit and a desire to travel. Cati always had an artistic streak, and began painting as a teenager, but it wasn't until her 18th birthday when her parents gave her a camera that she found her true passion. Now she works part time at a local bookstore and is working to improve her artwork and photography. She remains close to her parents and visits often. What will the future hold for this girl of big aspirations? Read on to find out!
