A Night a Eugi's
I find that my new life is suiting me well. I spend the bulk of my time painting and working on refining my techniques. Recently I began doing some still lifes. Mostly of things around the home but all the same it is excellent practice. And so far none have been worth much money. Now that I am home alone, No parents around, I am surprised that I am not lonely. I would have thought that would be my biggest problem but in fact it is not. I still have some social life, I still work at the bookstore which allows me to meet new sims everyday. In fact there was a particularly handsome sim who came in looking for a book on fishing instruction the other day. After 2 hours of flirting and talk about fishing, I got up the gumption to ask him what his sign is. He was a libra, moderately compatible with me. I followed this with an inquiry into his relationship status. And of course, he's married. What a waste of an afternoon. As I was leaving work I saw his wife outside the shop. She came running over seeing him flirting with a local police officer and the slapped him right across the cheek. Clearly she isn't happy about his flirtatious nature. I just hope I don't come into it! Finally my long week was over and i decided I would go out on the town. When I was living with my parents my mother Lahrissa would always wait up for me worrying about me getting mugged in the subway, so I always tried to be home at a reasonable hour. But on Friday I said to hell with that! I am hitting the hot spots! It took me longer than expected to get ready and head out. I didn't leave the house until nearly midnight. I wanted to make sure that I gussied up enough for my big adventure into the bustling night life of Bridgeport. I chickened out a bit and headed over to Eugi's local watering hole rather than hitting the high class dance clubs or lounges, and when I arrived i found Eugi's completely dead. Only one lady came in with me and we were the only two in the place. We hadn't come together so we headed in different directions she ordered a drink and went to sit in the corner, and i plopped down at the bar thinking I may as well grab a drink before I hit the road in search of a more popular spot. I ordered a 'spine reticulator' and realized i was actually pretty hungry. After enjoying a few tasty morsels of bar food I spotted the lady still in the corner. I went over to introduce myself and found out her name is Lady Cooke and she's rich! She invited me to join her for a game of shuffleboard and we had a blast shuffling the night away in a dead bar. I think I made a new friend!
